Business actors can apply for a Micro and Small Business License (IUMK) online through Online Single Submission (OSS). IUMK is a legality letter for micro and small entrepreneurs in developing their business. In addition to legal certainty, IUMK can be a means of empowering business actors.

A business that is called a micro is if the business actor has a maximum total wealth of Rp. 50 million, excluding land and buildings and an annual turnover of a maximum of Rp. 300 million.

A person or business actor with a total wealth of between Rp. 50 million to Rp. 500 million, excluding land and buildings and an annual turnover of around Rp. 300 million to Rp. 2.5 billion is called a small business as quoted from the Indonesian UKM page.

IUMK owners will receive assistance for business development from local governments and / or other institutions in the form of data collection, facilitation of access to capital, strengthening of institutions, guidance and technical assistance, developing partnerships with the business world and receiving certainty and protection in doing business in predetermined locations.

The IUMK letter is free or free of charge. These costs are borne by the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget and / or the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget.
