Abirami Anthathi (Tamil: Abirami biggrin.gif, Apirāmi antāti) is a Tamil collection of poems sung on goddess Abirami resided in Thirukkadaiyur Amirtaghatesvarar Sivan Temple, situated in Tamil Nadu, India. This poetry was composed by Abhirami Bhattar lived in 18th century CE, a contemporary of Tanjore I Serfoji to.

"Anthathi" (Tamil: biggrin.gif, Antati) is a classification of Tamil poetry in a previous verse which comes as the last word of the first word of verse next. Thus this kind of poem gots its name, Antam (Node, the end) + āti (Genesis, the beginning) = Antāti. Since this Andhadhi was sung on goddess Abhirami residing in Thirukkadavur, Tamil Nadu, it is known as Abirami Andhadhi. [2] Although Andhadhi Tamil literature consists of hundreds of songs, is praised as one of the prominent Andhadhi Abhirami Anthadi songs of Tamil literature.

It is said that the author of this song, Abhirami Bhattar, was an ardent devotee of goddess shakti and he lied to temple king Serfoji I Thirukkadavur who visited that day was the full moon day astrologically while actually it was a new moon day. Legends say that this anthadhi sung until he made appearance in front of goddess and she threw him towards her earring which the sky simultaneously converted into the full moon itself. Tamil Shaktas believe that recitation of full moon and new moon days will result in Abhirami in Andhadhi boons impossible.

There are a hundred stanzas plus a backup (Kāppu, protection) verse for Lord Ganesha and final use (Payaṉ, outcome), totally 102 stanzas are included in Abhirami Anthathi.The author praises Abhirami as his own mother, and regretting for his mistakes, Sivan father with the mother of divine play, and the simplicity and mercy of her. It is believed that recitation of achievement for each specific result the devotees will stanza.
