How to teach a child to draw animals step by step

You can draw animals in 4 steps.

At the first stage, the torso and the head are drawn - these are 2 ovals, slightly overlapping each other in the neck region (unless the animal is long-necked), and the oval-body is of an irregular shape and 2-3 times larger than the head. At the second stage, paws, a tail, and ears are drawn. At the third stage, the muzzle is drawn, having previously outlined the eyes, nose and mouth of the animal. And at the last stage, details are drawn - antennae, folds, wool, spots, patterns. When the sketch is ready, they wipe off all unnecessary lines, draw the contours and paint the animal.
