◆ Background of creating this manual

Therefore, with the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare Science Research Grant, as part of the Longevity Science Comprehensive Research Project, a research group was established in 2010 to create "Guidelines for Initial Response to Medical Care for the Elderly in the Event of a Disaster and Emergency Transport Standards". I did. In creating this manual, we have been preparing for completion by the end of FY2011.
Since the 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake, there have been many reports of the severe situation in the medical field for elderly people affected by the disaster.
