In this post, I am going to show you how to install Connect on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...
Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Connect using BlueStacks
- Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
- Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
- Once installed, click "Connect" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

Posts
->Upload post
Tap on the “+” icon on the bottom of homepage to upload. Now you can choose whether to click a new pic with camera or upload. To pick from gallery tap on “+” from the camera screen and select media type i.e video or pictures. After selecting the image you will be directed to a crop page where you need to crop the image. On applying filters you will be directed to the post upload page.
->Like Post- You can long press the post to like it or simply tap on the flame button to like the post.
->Pause/Play Video- You can tap on the video to pause/play the video.
->Mute/ Unmute video audio- Double tap on the video to mute or unmute it.
Moments
->View others moments
You can view the moments of the people you follow by tapping on the profile image of the person present on dashboard or open your chats page to see moments on the top of it.
->Upload moments
You can upload moments by tapping on add moments button present on your chats page. You can upload the moments as the same way you upload posts after tapping this button.
->View your moments
You can view your own moments by either tapping on your profile image present on the dashboard or by long pressing the add moments button present on the chats page or by tapping the moments button near create group on chats page.
Drawer
->This button is present on the top left of homepage. On tapping on this button the screen would split such that a menu will appear on the back of the homepage and the size of the homepage will be reduced. To go back you need to tap on the homepage this action will hide the menu present behind.
Explore/Search Page
->This page contains posts which are uploaded by public accounts. To refresh this page swipe from the top of your device’s screen towards the bottom. To view the post completely you can tap on the post. This action will send you to a new page where you can see the post completely with details of the account which uploaded this. On the top of this page there is a search field/ box where you can type the usernames/ hashtags to search them.
Add/follow friends
->You can add/ follow friends by searching them through the text field present on the explore page. Or you can scan your friends profile by opening the qr scanner from the menu button and perform scanning. After scanning or searching your friend you will be taken to profile/dashboard where you can follow your buddy.
Tags
->These are given to the user by us based on the achievements like number of followers a user have. For example you will be getting a tag of “cool” for having your likes more than 1. Currently you will be give tags based on four categories which are count of followers, following, posts, flames. In future updates we will be improving and introducing new tags as well.
Verification
->You can get your account verified by going to Settings>Account>Apply For Verification. Here you need to enter your required details and a document picture as a proof. And in the section of tell us something to identify you here you need to enter some details like “ I am a social worker and this is my achievement” etc. Note:- You will be responsible for any allegations arising due to the verification request sent by you.

->You can switch between light theme and dark theme by tapping on the theme option present on the drawer screen. By default the theme of the app is as that of your device.
