In this post, I am going to show you how to install myTV for GoogleTV on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Step By Step Guide To Install myTV for GoogleTV using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen

myTV creates a virtual television network with the media folders available on your Android device, GoogleTV, server, or external hard drive. It organizes your media into channels, then stores those channels in memory and plays them randomly/automatically when the network is started. Think of it as your own personal television network with only the things that you actually want to watch! Great for anyone with an expansive media collection!


Instructions Setup

1) Click on "Manage Channels".
2) Click on "Add Channel".
3) Name your new channel and click "Next".
4) Navigate to the folders containing your media. Remember that the media folders must have no sub folders. The show names will automatically be added to the channel depending on the name of the folder selected.
5) When you are finished, click "Submit" to save the channel." Repeat steps 2-5 for as many channels as desired.
6) Click the "Back" button and then click on "Start TV" to start your television network.
