In this post, I am going to show you how to install Preset Volume Control PVC on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Step By Step Guide To Install Preset Volume Control PVC using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. The application allows you to control the Audio-DSP Biamp Tesira, AudiaFlex, Nexia via your smartphone by telnet protocol. The application is very simple and intuitive and has two main pages, one for recalling presets and one for volumes, as well as other pages for configuration and help.
The main PRESET control page offers the possibility to recall up to 10 presets (the number can be reduced as desired). The name displayed under the preset button and the recalled preset can be customized as desired (compared to a large number of presets in the audio matrix). When the preset is selected, the application sends the command and waits for the response from the DSP device. If the command was successful, the button changes color and a text with the name of the preset name is displayed.
The VOLUMES page allows you to adjust up to 8 volumes using + / - keys which, when pressed, send the command to the audio matrix. After sending the command, the application waits for it to be executed and returns the numeric value of the volume after sending it, so as to have feedback on the correct sending.
The application has been developed for Biamp Tesira, Audiaflex and Nexia DSP processor, and can only work with one (or a system made up of several units), but of the same series, for example, it is not possible to control a Tesira and Audia DSP with the same App .
The customizations of the control strings and the names associated with the keys are stored automatically within the app.
In order to work, the application needs to be connected to a Wifi network connected to the wired network where the audio matrices are connected and the smartphone device must be in the same IP subnet as the devices to be controlled.
