The medical simulator application is designed to train and restore binocular and monocular vision disorders (with strabismus and amblyopia), prevent these disorders in healthy people, and also as a development game to stimulate sensory-motor mechanisms and improve coordination and logical thinking in preschool children and school age.

It is necessary to use the simulator (except in cases of amblyopia) by wearing 3D anaglyph stereo glasses, having previously calibrated (in the appendix) the color of the objects.

The recommended time for one game session for preschool children is not more than 10 minutes, for students no more than 15 minutes.

There are no absolute contraindications.
A relative contraindication is the presence of malignant diseases and epilepsy in a patient.

In the treatment of amblyopia, as mentioned above, optical glasses are not needed. If necessary, the patient uses glasses that correct existing refractive errors (myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism). At the same time, a well-seeing eye should be closed (direct permanent occlusion) for the entire period of treatment. An increase in visual acuity is controlled by an ophthalmologist who observes the patient. When achieving visual acuity sufficient for training binocular vision (the patient in glasses-filters should distinguish all objects of the game with each eye), with a symmetrical position of the eyes, use glasses - filters, both eyes are open. The difference in visual acuity is evened out by the method of “penalization” (special optical correction prescribed by the ophthalmologist) or by “fogging” using a thin plastic film or soap, which lubricates the glass of corrective glasses, which corresponds to a better-seeing eye (a plastic film moistened with water can easily be fixed on the glass of corrective glasses points). The degree of “fogging” is determined visually, while the patient must clearly distinguish all objects of the game with both eyes.
