How to pray the Christmas novena

Read the following instructions carefully so you can do the Christmas novena in the proper order.

Before starting with the reading the assistants must cross themselves by making the sign of the cross (in the name of the father, the son and the holy spirit, Amen)
We proceed to read the prayer for every day.
Continue the novena with daily reflection or also called considerations, each day of the novena has a text with a quote from the gospel and a message to reflect on.
After the reflection you can sing a carol, the lyrics of the traditional carols can be found in the carols section of this page.
It continues with the reading of the prayer to the Blessed Virgin, usually it is customary to read by a woman.
Prayer to St. Joseph is common for a man to read in his symbolic representation.
The next section is the Christmas joys, these are verses which are answered in chorus with a carol fragment.
 The last section of the novena is the Prayer to the Child Jesus, this reading is used to leave it in the hands of a child.
At the end of the novena, carols are sung, juices or dynamics can also be performed. The organizers or hosts can deliver a small plate of food, snacks, candy or any food as a sign of affection to the attendees.
