The application contains the new and most accurate to date translation of the Holy Quran into Russian with the interpretation of individual verses from the Prophet Muhammad and his family.

The Koran is the Holy Scripture sent down to the Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and his family, in order to lead people out of the darkness of ignorance to the light of truth. The Koran is the instruction of the One God, in which He explained to us what actions before Him are approved, and what are condemned. Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and his family, completed the chain of God's messengers and prophets, may peace be with them all, and showed people the last Revelation confirming the previous Scriptures.

The holy book of Muslims is the embodiment of deep wisdom and the pinnacle of the Arabic syllable and style, and that is why, not only in the religious, but also in the scientific community, there is an opinion that the Quran, as God's Word, cannot be translated into any language without damage to understanding and perception of the text.

In recent years, many translations of the Qur'an have appeared, and a quite pertinent question arises as to what is the fundamental difference between them. Among the available translations, one should especially note the translation by G.S.Sablukov, made from the Arabic original source (and not on the basis of Western European translations, as was the practice earlier), as well as the translation of Academician I. Yu. Krachkovsky, which undoubtedly became a progressive step towards more accurate transmission of the verses of the Quran.

Other translators set themselves different tasks. The purpose of some was to clarify the meaning of the verses and the creation of so-called "semantic translations", while others paid attention to the artistic side of the translation, such parameters as rhythm, rhyme, the use of consonances, etc. They added new words to the text without marking them as non-Koranic, and translated the texts of the ayahs to the detriment of the meaning, caring more about the beauty of the syllable than about the accuracy of conveying the content of the ayah to the reader.

When it comes to Scripture, it is extremely important to refer only to the most accurate literal translation that is closest to the original. At the same time, it should not contain "literalism" - the transfer of the semantic components of words or phrases to the detriment of meaning.

It is important to note that an exclusively semantic translation actually narrows the perception of the verse to some single image and interpretation, therefore, it is necessary, if possible, to convey to people the Word of God in the form in which it was sent down.

The possibility of ambiguous interpretation of the verse, which is present in the Arabic text, must certainly be preserved in translation.

Thus, this work is the first attempt to combine literal and semantic translations.
