In this post, I am going to show you how to install GFOS App on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...
Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install GFOS App using BlueStacks
- Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
- Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
- Once installed, click "GFOS App" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

Simple mobile time tracking
Home office, changing work locations, co-working spaces or business trips: Using the GFOS App, time tracking works anywhere and at any time, providing ideal support for flexible working models. If locations are also important for your recording, the tracking of GPS coordinates can be activated so that those responsible are in the loop. The data is automatically synchronized with the GFOS software. Current bookings are displayed at all times via the attendance status. Do you want to evaluate the time bookings separately via the app? The GFOS App can be assigned its own terminal number for this purpose.

Using the project time recording widget, you can record, create or edit your projects on the go. Easily enter information about the individual tasks or projects with the comment function: this makes details available to your colleagues and promotes communication between your teams.

Available with GFOS 4.8plus: Additional booking keys can be added for missing bookings. Leaves for seminars can also be processed.
QR codes as a quick functions
Use QR codes to simplify processes such as the set-up or time tracking. They can also be used for clock-in and clock-out bookings or cost center changes.
Push notifications & availability requests
The GFOS App automatically informs you when, for example, a new request is submitted or the status of submitted requests changes. Available with GFOS 4.8plus: Your employees receive availability requests for new shifts as part of the employee scheduling module (shift doodle) directly on their smartphones to check and approve or reject them. Thereafter, planners get automatic feedback for simplified planning processes.
