⚙️ Background Sync Service
Music Time runs a persistent foreground service to maintain a live Bluetooth connection with your paired Pebble smartwatch. This is required because Android would otherwise kill the process when your screen turns off, interrupting transfers mid-send and preventing the watch from receiving updates when it launches. The service handles two things: detecting song changes so album art can be sent to the watch face (for use as a background image), and detecting when the watch face signals that it has loaded so the companion can send the current image and data. A notification is always visible, with a prominent stop button, while the service runs. This button will stop the service.

📍 Location & Weather
Display of Weather data is optional (off by default). Weather data is fetched from Open-Meteo (free, no account required) using either your approximate location or a manually entered city. Location is never stored on any server or used for advertising. Granting background location access (optional) improves the accuracy of weather fetches when your phone screen is off - without it, the last known position is used.
