Discover Aarhus is Aarhus Municipality's new tour app. Here you can explore exciting nature areas and get new cultural experiences in Aarhus Municipality. Discover a place or go for a walk in Aarhus.

Discover Aarhus was developed by the Alexandra Institute as a tour app for the City of Aarhus. The tour app caters to schools, associations, institutions and all of the city's citizens as well as guests and tourists who want to go on their own, but at the same time want a few good tips.

With Discover Aarhus on your mobile device you get a number of tour suggestions with drawn routes on the mobile map. For each route, a number of interesting natural or cultural-historical sites are selected, which are mentioned in text and image. supplemented by a small audio or video clip. If you have turned on your location service, a small blue marker tells you where you are on the route and how close you are to the next story location.

The individual tour suggestions are prepared by Teknik og Miljø in collaboration with Taste at Aarhus, Natural History Museum, Moesgård Museum, City Archives in Aarhus and Visit Aarhus.

Up until the Capital of Culture 2017, joint councils, local associations, the citizens of the city, etc. increasingly become involved in the development of new tour suggestions.
