CamStream turns your Android phone or tablet into a real ONVIF™ network camera. Start the app and your device becomes an IP camera that your NVR, DVR or video surveillance software automatically discovers on the network and streams live video from.

It's the perfect way to reuse an old phone as a security camera for your home, office, shop, garage, baby monitor or pet cam — with no extra hardware.

KEY FEATURES
• ONVIF Profile S standard: works with most NVR and VMS systems
• Real-time H.264 video streaming over RTSP
• Automatic network discovery (WS-Discovery)
• On-demand JPEG snapshots
• Access protected by username and password (WS-Security)
• Front or rear camera
• Configurable resolution, frame rate and bitrate
• Image rotation (0/90/180/270 or automatic)
• Custom ONVIF and RTSP ports
• Runs in the background with a persistent notification
• Live preview inside the app
• English and Italian interface, light and dark theme
• Built-in debug log

WORKS WITH
ONVIF Device Manager, Home Assistant, Frigate, Synology Surveillance Station, Blue Iris, Agent DVR and most NVR/VMS systems that support ONVIF or RTSP.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Open CamStream and set a username and password
2. Tap Start: the phone begins streaming
3. In your NVR/VMS, add an ONVIF camera: it is found automatically, or enter the IP address shown in the app
4. The Connection tab shows the ready-to-copy ONVIF, RTSP and snapshot addresses
