What is I'Velo
There are times you really need a bike. We don't know where, when or why... but we try to be as close to you as possible. I'Velo is a bike-sharing service. One that we have built, improved and will continue to shape around the users’ needs. We have 11 years of experience, millions of rentals and the desire to remain on the market for at least the same amount of time. Therefore, by inviting you to join us, we are prompting you to: Download the app and let's take the I'Velo story forward.

The new I'Velo app

This version of the app is focused on simplifying the bike rental process. We have implemented a new registration mode in the application, one in which you only need an Orange subscription registered in your name. So, if you are an Orange customer, enter your number and then the validation SMS code. It's that simple. For users without Orange subscriptions, you will still be able to register based on your ID card. In addition, foreign citizens who can provide a Romanian telephone number now have access to our services.

Mutual trust
We know that a relationship is based on mutual trust. And in order to earn and most importantly keep your trust, here is what we do, what we are considering very carefully:
Understanding the importance of the smooth and continuous operation of rental services
Continuous development and attention to user feedback
Shaping the project around users’ needs and in line with market changes
Fairness and maximum transparency in personal data processing
Last but not least, we want to talk about the roots of this project. The I'Velo project could be classified as "100% Romanian". The supporting software, as well as most of the equipment we use are manufactured or assembled in Romania. Obviously, the programs, components, parts or various other equipment are manufactured in the EU, US or China. What we mean by "100% Romanian" is that we have tried and managed, with subjective satisfaction, to offer a bike-sharing service built in Romania, designed by Romanian engineers, designers, developers and IT programmers.
We should also mention that I'Velo is a social responsibility project, carried out by the Green Revolution Association, sponsored by Raiffeisen Bank Romania.
