IN PROGRESS.

-Soundculator allows individuals with a wide range of visual impairments to use this calculator. Soundculator is a calculator that can be used by almost anyone suffering from visual impairment. Whether you suffer from color blindness or total blindness, Soundculator allows you to use this mobile app.
-Soundculator uses a new kind of user interface to allow anyone to use this calculator. When one's finger touches the screen, whatever button your finger is on is spoken in natural language. Once the user lifts his or her finger from the button a sound is played to confirm with the user that the button their finger was on was inputted into the calculator. With this user interface, anyone can use this calculator. The buttons on the calculator are black with white characters so that those users suffering from color blindness can use it.
-The user interface also is different by arranging the buttons on the calculator in a more intuitive way. Like operations are grouped together to allow the user to compose a mental map of where everything on the calculator is and to help guide the user to find what number or operation they are looking for.
-Numbers are also arranged in a different way. instead of placing the numbers in the current configuration, Sounculator's number buttons are arranged so that those who are visually impaired can 'follow' the buttons with their finger in an 'S' shape so they can always know what number buttons are next to whatever number button their finger is on.
-The calculator can also be used to help children learn their numbers and simple math concepts such as arithmetic.
