In this post, I am going to show you how to install Vagus SOS on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Vagus SOS using BlueStacks

Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
Once installed, click "Vagus SOS" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

By using Vagus SOS in Bratislava, you can save lives and provide professional help to
homeless people. Your reports will help to solve the problem where emergency
rescue or police cannot help to a person on the street unless he has an acute illness
or injury. These are the situations where social workers of the civic association Vagus
are able to help. Professional social workers have the possibility to transport men to
a shelter, ensure surviving the night without any risk or provide long-term social
service to improve the social situation of homeless people.
APPLICATION is not a substitute for the medical emergency services and only works
in the city BRATISLAVA.
Received reports will be evaluated in a few minutes by Vagus staff during their
service (Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 21:00 and Saturday from 17:00 to 21:00).
If the reported situation of a person is critical, Vagus team will immediately go to the
site and provide social counseling, transport to shelter or warm tea, blanket and
food.
The application also allows direct calls to field social workers 0949/655555 for acute
situations on the service hours.
Less acute reports or reports received out of service hours will be solved by Vagus
field workers later. All solved reports will be displayed to the reporter via the
notification in the app.
In the menu, you will also find a practical list of most of the services for helping
homeless people in Bratislava, as well as advice on donating financial or material
assistance, or how to help voluntarily to homeless people.
The application was created through a pro bono partnership between Appoxide Lab
studio and civic association Vagus.
