The Talking Walls

With Swiss Re Next, the architects picked up the global platinum award for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and the excellent Minergie-P-ECO label for resource-efficient, high-performing, healthy and cost-effective buildings. Sustainability features are all around this building.

The structure of the building is designed to foster an open working culture of encounter, dialogue and collaboration – a hotbed for innovation. Internationally renowned contemporary artists joined in and created artworks that promote dialogue and aim to inspire.

The Talking Walls app provides you with information about the sustainability features, artworks and workspace concept in this building as you walk through it. 26 tag words on the walls, such as daylight, workspace, roots or art are linked to iBeacons that send Bluetooth-based notifications to your smart device as you pass by. Simply pop open the app and listen to the bite-sized stories that tell you more about this extraordinary building.

You can also browse through the stories at your leisure when you are outside the building by unlocking all the wall talks in the app.
