In this post, I am going to show you how to install SUST Navigator on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install SUST Navigator using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "SUST Navigator" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

SUST Navigator includes features
* Syllabus Information according to Department, Session and Semester

* Save and Restore calculated CGPA in phone and also in cloud. Data saved in the cloud can be sync with multiple devices running with same google account. It stores data in user's google drive

* Admin panel for data management. Anyone from any department can be an admin.

**** Admin Panel Policy ****

* Admin needs to register providing their details like department, registration no etc.
* Admin needs to be verified to get access in admin panel.
* There are two types of admin. Admin and Super Admin. Super admin can do anything. Even remove an existing admin. Only a super admin can create another super admin.
* An admin (Non-Super) can modify only the data of his/her department.
* For admin verification, an admin can verify only admin from his/her department.
* Every time any data is updated the admin by whom the information is updated will be shown in the home screen.

* Admins are the heart of this app. Only they can keep the app up to date.
* Only SUSTians will be the admin. So it will be a common expectation from them not to destroy the data that may cause the app to misbehaves.

This app provide some special feature for admin. For their convenience it includes
* Web Crawler to grab faculty information from official website of SUST.
* Web Crawler only crawl the data from SUST website. It is not able to manipulate the data on the server.
* OCR for scanning syllabus book to generate course for updating syllabus.
* Syllabus cloning from previous session
