The Awakening of Consciousness is a project conceived by Sebastião Camargo, speaker, researcher and scholar of the Universal Teaching of Spirits and collaborators for at least twenty years. As the name itself reveals, its purpose is to assist the human being in the awakening of his consciousness. In other words, to help him to know himself and, a posteriori, to promote his self-education, since, as it appears in the work The Awakening of Consciousness, from the atom to the angel, of his inner harmony for complete mastery over oneself, according to the laws which he identifies by probing his conscience, in the likeness of Socrates, and more clearly explained later by the Spirit of Truth (page 35, 1st ed.). Further on, it clarifies that we have arrived at a stage of evolution in which planetary intelligence the messengers of Christ invites us to awaken to a new consciousness, so that we can follow and endure the process of transformation of a planet of trials and atonements (where the evil still prevails), to a more advanced stage (when good will prevail), giving rise to a new planet paradigm, designated by spirituality as a world of regeneration (page 38, 1st ed.).

Sebastião Camargo was based, for the proposed purpose, on reasonings elaborated from the studies he derived from the basic works of the Universal Teaching of Spirits, ordered by Allan Kardec, and countless others, spiritists and spiritualists, written by great scholars of spiritual truths , of yesterday and today, incarnated and disincarnated. His studies reestablish the true sense of fragments of Spiritism, providing the scholar with a more accurate understanding of the truths implicit in these works, since a large part of mankind has already attained the psycho-intellect-moral conditions necessary for it. The Institute The Awakening of Consciousness is a civil institution, constituted on 07/16/2012, non-profit, created with the objective of materializing the idealized project.

Our goal:

The Institute The Awakening of Consciousness aims to guide beings to the knowledge of themselves, promoting the human creature, in the light of the Universal Teaching of Spirits, through the sublimation of their personality, according to what Kardec asserted in his Discourse III, in Spiritist Journey of 1862, charity is the sublimation of personality. The sublimation of the personality will lead it to the right course, not to do to others what it does not want for itself, be it in thoughts, feelings, words or actions.

To achieve the above, Sebastião Camargo divulges his ideas through lectures, seminars, radio and TV programs, media interviews, courses and workshops.

Proceeding according to what he defends, conscious that it is up to what he wants to become a true Christian, to become a living Gospel, because, as André Luiz asserts, in The Spirit of Truth, by Francisco Cândido Xavier, the greatest restorer of forces is the straight conscience asserting the emotions, Sebastião Camargo has not spared efforts in dedication to the embraced ideal. She has traveled the various Brazilian regions, moving to wherever they request her enlightening and friendly word, becoming a new herald of the Good News, now in times of regeneration.
