Here’s a great new game from a developer who definitely knows what he’s doing and that you’ve almost certainly heard of. It’s Chill Pill. Batteries not included.

Do you hate pills, tablets, and other orally ingested medicine? Well it’s your lucky day, lookey what I have here, a game where you fling pills into a box-shaped hole. This’ll satisfy your cravings to lob pills into a hole, you weirdo.

I know you’ve got questions, so have I buddy, you’re just gonna have to wait a minute I’m getting to that. But first:

1) Do you want several different but equally contrived game types? Of course you do, well Chill Pill has them including and limited to:
a) A classic mode: ooo aaa how innovative
b) A time trial mode: Like an exam but not as polished
c) A hardcore mode: For those of you that just want to suffer more than you already
are
d) And a few freeplay modes: For those who don’t want a sense of pride and
accomplishment

2) Do you also want several features that the majority of mobile games already have, well hot damn you’re so lucky today, we’ve got:
a) Achievements: I sure love getting congratulated with cringey jokes and awful puns
b) Leaderboards: Have some friends that you wanna beat? Of course you don’t
c) Stats: Want to see how much time you’ve wasted on this, knock yourself out
d) GIFs: Wanna show off your pitiful score with a moving image, I’ve got you covered
fam
e) Awful music: Spadeloads of it, its mutable though don’t worry
f) Level gimmicks: Every level's a gimmick I always say
g) Bugs: Collect em I do, gotta catch ‘em all
h) Credits: You won’t read these but they’re there

3) And lastly, do you find some features of mobile games annoying as all hell, well don’t worry I do too so you don’t have to worry about these:
a) Ads: They’re there but they’re customisable. Don’t want to see them? You can turn
them off. Only want to see them occasionally? You can set that too.
b) Microtransactions: Nada, no microtransactions, I don’t even know what I could have
as one to be honest. I could make the mute button locked behind a paywall that’d
earn me loads.
c) Notifications: Na there’s no daily reward or anything like that so just play whenever
and if you want
