In this post, I am going to show you how to install 3D ТОЛИ on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install 3D ТОЛИ using BlueStacks
- Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
- Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
- Once installed, click "3D ТОЛИ" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

[Note 2] about Bluetooth: At the moment, support for Bluetooth is not available on BlueStacks. Hence, apps that require control of Bluetooth may not work on BlueStacks.

The dictionary is intended for individual and collective work with the aim of developing the skills of memorizing and reproducing the initial volume of vocabulary of the Buryat language. The dictionary kit in addition to this application includes 80 cards with words on the topics: Man, Natural phenomena, Flora, Fauna, Household items. Cards serve as markers recognized by the augmented reality application.

How to install the AR application on a smartphone / tablet:
1) Connect the Android device (with the operating system version not lower than 7th) to the Internet (via WiFi / 4G)
2) Enter the Google Play Store app store
3) Enter in the search bar: 3D TOLI
4) Install the application on the device
5) Open the 3D TOLI app. At startup, the application will require to allow access to photo / multimedia files, as well as to the device’s camera. Click "Allow"
6) Point the device’s camera at the card. Some cards have built-in augmented reality on the side with the image, and some on the side with the inscription
7) See Augmented Reality. When you press the button with the "Audio" icon on the device’s screen, an audio recording of the corresponding word in the Buryat language will be played.
Note:
The application will not play 3D content in a dimly lit room, or if there are too bright glare from light sources on the surface of the card. In the latter case, it is recommended to change the viewing angle by moving the card in space. The application will not work when the card is located at an angle of less than 10 degrees relative to the device.
Thus, the functions of the traditional printed manual are expanded due to interaction with interactive elements (3D models with animation and audio recordings). The didactic tasks of the dictionary: to develop phonemic hearing, to teach correct pronunciation, to form an initial vocabulary, to teach the correct spelling of words. Game actions: students scan augmented reality, listen to the pronunciation of words, pronounce words, remember the spelling of words.
The author did not set himself the task of radically changing the teaching methodology. This project is just an attempt to explore the possibilities and prospects of using the new digital technology as an additional tool for educators. Classes with a 3D dictionary can be included in didactic games created by the teacher. The author is glad to any comments, suggestions and reviews, as well as suggestions for options for didactic games with a 3D dictionary.
