Designed to be the easiest and most user friendly interval timer. If you are running you can listen to audio prompts while your phone is in your pocket. Or you can set the device down in big clock mode to see it from far away.

Getting into HIIT training myself I wasn't happy with some of the apps I was using. So I set out to make one that I found clean, user friendly, informative and which did it's job well in different scenarios.

Features

Simple User Interface
I put a lot of effort into make the interface as simple as possible, and only showed you what you needed to see when you needed to see it.

Screen Colours
Dramatic screen colours were added to quickly and easily recognize what interval you're currently in.

Text to Speech
The app will announce what interval is starting, and can count down how many seconds are left in the interval. This is really useful if your device is in your pocket and you are only using headphones. Note: you can disable the count down if it annoys you. Also it will speak your success message. I find it fun to make that message personal to me.

Background Mode
While a routine is running you can minimize the app and it will continue to run until it's complete.

Big Clock Mode
Rotate the device into landscape and the screen is filled up with a large countdown clock. This is useful if you want to put your device on the ground away from you and still be able to see the countdown.

Screen lock
Will keep the screen on, stops buttons from working so you can't accidentally click on anything, and locks the screen orientation. Useful like above, if you want to put the device down somewhere.

Interval types

Basic Interval
Quickly setup an interval that is based on warmup, work, rest, and cooldowns. This is for a simple routine that has the same intervals repeating the same times. Note: If you don't want an interval just give a time of 00:00 and it will be skipped.

Custom Interval
For when you have intervals that are different times from each other. Or if you want more options, like a different colour screen or naming your routine to use text to speech.

Note

This is the first release. I would like to take this further and add in some more features in the future.

Change Notes

Nov 15, 2019 - v 1.0.1

- Changed wake lock so that it will automatically turn on when playing a routine. As opposed to turning on only when the screen lock button was pressed. Now the screen lock only handles orientation and preventing buttons from being pressed.

- Added a total time field to routine forms. So now you can see the total time as you're making changes to your routines.
This is the initial release. I've worked quite hard on this and tested it. However I'm sure there is going to be some bugs or issues that have been missed. So please keep in mind that this is an early release. Feel free to comment and give feedback.

Changes:
- Screen stays on while a routine is playing. Before it was only attached to the lock button.
- Total time added to routine form.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
