Assigned Ministers Ministries International will be hosting a symposium on the 30th of August 2015 at LongCheng Plaza, Belvedere, Harare from 0800hours to 1700hours. The theme of the symposium is: “Transforming Zimbabwe’s Economy through Innovative Inventions”
Upon noting with deep concern that the majority of Zimbabwean citizens are faced with the pervasive challenge of unemployment, Assigned Ministers Ministries International has deemed it fit that the Body of Christ fulfil its responsibility in addressing this grievous plight. We are cognisant of the fact that in all our physical endeavours Jesus Christ Our Lord is the centre so it is imperative that all our efforts have a spiritual foundation. Thus, the sub-theme of the event is: “The Spiritual Controls the Physical”
Bearing in mind the Zim Asset program and the vision of our nation, the symposium will be aimed at engaging and empowering the citizens of Zimbabwe into realising capital concepts to alleviate poverty. We have noted that Africa is richly blessed with resources in comparison to other continents, however we have not been able to horn the ability to fully exploit those resources. Other continents, though having fewer or no natural resources have birthed innovative inventions that have advanced them. It is with the desire that the citizens couple the availability of resources and humanly acquired expertise with the spiritual verities for innovative inventions that we are having this symposium.
Interjecting in our minds that God can avail certain innovative concepts that defy the barriers and hardships currently plaguing the citizens of Zimbabwe is the account of Isaac sowing in a famine-stricken land (Reference: Genesis 26:1-13) yet having his economic status radically transformed. This is as well a reaffirmation of that “The Spiritual Controls The Physical.”
We have lobbied various key people in the Arts and Cultural Industry as well as some motivational speakers to perform and deliver speeches at the event in a bid to unite the entire Body of Christ in partaking in this vision.
