Arrhythmial App is the first app for mobile phones capable of detecting real-time cardiac arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation, using high precision optical pulse monitors and connect via online doctor patient 24h

Arrhythmial App has been developed and tested as part of a research project at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Valencia, in collaboration with the Polytechnic University and the University Jaime I of Castellón.

Following clinical trials, Arrhythmial has proved an excellent tool to accurately monitor heart rate with an almost perfect correlation with the electrocardiograph reference (r = 0.981), p <0.001) for the presence of bradycardia, tachycardia and beats irregular with a sensitivity of 96.2% and a specificity of 96.8%.

Depending on the severity and type of alarm recorded depending on the mode of activity, Arrhythmial App will send a visual and audible alarm with a guide to action, to the user or a third party of their choice, control and monitoring of a patient or a family member , provided there is consent.

Therefore, it is possible to receive alarms and get real-time heart rate of a patient, family member or friend, with his emergency geolocation (after a loss of consciousness for example)

All Arrhythmial predefined alarms can be customized by the user according to their baseline or control needs, under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
