In this post, I am going to show you how to install Password Plus on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Password Plus using BlueStacks

Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
Once installed, click "Password Plus" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

Do you use the same password for most of your logins? Do you rarely or never change your passwords? Do you select passwords that are easy to remember and therefore perhaps easy to guess? If you answer ‘yes’ to any of these questions you need to change your approach to login security. You may think that because you have never been hacked it cannot happen to you. And it can’t; until it does.

With the Password Plus App you can keep all of your login details in that device you always have to hand - Your Smartphone. So you don’t need to remember them. Login details are not just passwords but include: usernames and IDs, PINs and memorable words or phrases. In the Password Plus App these are called Passkeys and the App allows you to record them grouped by account. You can display each passkey above a simple ruler which helps you select the numbered characters that some logins require. You can also see a history of values for each passkey.

Because you don’t have to remember the passkeys you can select words that are impossible for anyone to guess, and change them regularly. For example if you are required to give your mother’s maiden name, which would be easy for someone to discover, you can supply a fictitious name or just a random collection of characters. In fact the App can generate completely random passkeys for you according to your specification. You can also copy any passkey with a long touch (press and hold) and then paste it into another app.

In case you lose your phone passkeys in the database are encrypted using a rolling cipher similar to that used by the Enigma Machine in the Second World War, but much more complex. The encryption is personal to you. It is controlled by an encryption key that you supply when you login to the App, but which is not recorded in the database. Without this key nobody can read your passkeys. Not even the author of the App could decrypt them.
