Currently, to collect a medication, it is necessary to carry the card of the social security of the patient, and identify yourself.
The procedure could be simplified by making use of the signature capability of the DNIe 3.0 and a mobile device with NFC functionality.

This sample application shows how it could be done: The recipient fills out a form on the screen with the data of the person who will pick it up and the medication data. He then digitally signs it and sends it to the pharmacy or entity that manages these authorizations, which he will manage in his internal system.

When the authorized person goes to pick up the shipment, he / she will be identified showing his / her ID and the employee will verify the data with the ones shown in the authorization. Then I would give him the medicine.
In this way, it is not even necessary for the patient and the authorized person to see each other, so that the patient delivers the Social Security card to the person who is going to pick up the medication.

The app also allows downloading from the Social Security the document accrediting the citizen's right to healthcare. This official document can be verified online on the Social Security page by means of the CEA code (electronic authentication code) that it contains.
