In this post, I am going to show you how to install Rionero in VulTOUR on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Step By Step Guide To Install Rionero in VulTOUR using BlueStacks
- Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.

The Rionero App in VulTOUR is a tool to support the knowledge of the cultural heritage of the municipality of Rionero in Vulture (Potenza, Basilicata).
The development of the App fits into the broader framework of the School-Work Alternation project "Methods, tools, techniques and technologies for knowledge, conservation and enhancement of cultural heritage" born of the synergy between the Institute of Higher Education "Giustino Fortunato "By Rionero in Vulture and the Institute for Archaeological and Monumental Heritage of the National Research Council (IBAM-CNR), headquarters of Tito (PZ). The Project has seen the involvement, for a total duration of eighty hours divided in the school years 2017-2018 and 2018-2019, of the classes 4 ^ F, 5 ^ E and 5 ^ F (as 2018-2019) of the Scientific High School of the Institute of Higher Education.
The development of the App Rionero in VulTOUR was preceded by the collection of information relating to the major points of cultural and monumental interest of the city of Rionero in Vulture and its territory. The result was a database in which sites of cultural interest were merged, divided into six different categories: Defenses; Architectural religious heritage; Residential architectural heritage and a different destination; Rural architectural heritage; Archaeological heritage; Museums, libraries.
For each of the sites identified, ad hoc files were created with specific informative-descriptive entries, a photographic collection structured and geographical coordinates recorded. On the basis of this database it was possible to create the App using the App Inventor 2 open-source software.
The definitive App is based on a very simple graphic interface and on a logical scheme of rapid intuition. Once installed on a smartphone or tablet, typing on the Rionero icon in VulTOUR will display a main menu consisting of three buttons. These are related to i) to the list of sites, ii) to the general map and iii) to the info. From the first you access the various tabs, from the second to the interactive Google Maps where you can see the locations of the various centers of interest, from the third to general information on the App. In each monument card it is possible to identify the current denomination and a brief description of the asset, view the photos and geolocate the site on Google Maps, by clicking on the banner at the bottom of the screen.
