History of the Bellesi family
The history of the Bellesi family has its roots around 1950 when his father Giampaolo, master pastry chef, worked between the 50s and the 60s at the largest pastry shops in Florence, including Giurovich, Robiglio and Gambrinus, collaborating with the teacher and friend Giorgio Bernacchioni, of the Giorgio pastry shop.
In 1958 he decided to start his own business. The first pastry shop of the Bellesi family opens, a small artisan reality in the center of Florence, in via San Gallo, which will maintain its peculiar characteristics of love for the genuine and artisan pastry tradition for more than 20 years.
In 1993 the creative and innovative drive of his son SIMONE led the family to take over the ownership of the historic PASTICCERIA VILLANI in Florence from 1922, which he will manage for 13 years, during which Simone increases his skills both in terms of production and managerial capacity.
Awareness that will lead him in the early 2000s to tackle new challenges: Catering organization, participation in events and exhibitions in Italy and abroad, catering.
